Just a quick reminder that tonight is Draft Night at Morse Park & Beach (19777 Morse Park Ln, Noblesville, IN 46060)—and we’ve got a fun evening planned to kick off the season right!
Here’s what you need to know:
🕕Draft starts at 6:00 PM
Attendance isn’t required, but it’s definitely encouraged if you can swing by—we’ll be announcing teams and getting things rolling!
🎯All teams will play in 3 time slots tonight:
1 practice round to warm things up
2 full games to start the season strong
⏰ First games begin at 6:45pm
🍿 Concessions will be open!
We’ll have Gatorade, water, chips, candy, and other snacks available.
Cash or Venmo only, please!
Come ready to meet your team, take a few swings, and enjoy the start of another awesome season at Morse!

Thank you for everyone who joined us at Open Play last week! We saw new faces and signed up several new players, and we're ready to get the season started. Based on registration numbers, we are looking at 3 or 4 teams. With that in mind, we are going to make some changes to make sure the Spring experience is a great one, and we can use the momentum to grow even larger in the Summer!
🥎 The season kicks off tomorrow, April 24th and will be a "micro-league" with just 5 weeks of doubleheaders.
🌞Bonus: We’ve dropped the price! League will now only be $70 and come with a T-Shirt.
💰Already signed up and paid? No worries! You will receive credit for the difference towards your summer registration, League Joe merch, or you can request a refund for the difference.
With these changes, this will give everyone a taste of the draft experience without the season feeling like it is dragging on too long. We will then pivot this league immediately into a Summer session where we can target expanding to 6 or more teams!
🥎Draft will be at 6pm before the games start on Thursday. (You are not required to attend the draft but if you do you can see yourself drafted live! How cool is that?!)
🥎Plan on playing all three timeslots, as when you are not playing your team can use the other field for BP & practice so that you can connect together more!
🥎Going forward games will be at 6:30/7:30/8:30

A quick, surprise rainstorm didn't dampen the spirits too badly as we got some nice BP in last night. Thank you to everyone who came out, and we're ready to get the league started.
The Draft is Being Scheduled Now
We are reaching out to interested coaches and getting the final draft timing figured out now. It will likely be on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week, so expect to get an email with your team assignment then. If you're interested in coaching, feel free to reach out and let us know!
Preseason League Play Starts Next Week
Once teams are drafted, we'll be playing our first games next Thursday. They will be pre-season so don't worry - you get another week to knock off the rust.
Please help us spread the word as we need a handful more people to get on each squad to make sure every team has 12! See you soon!

It FINALLY feels like Spring and it's going to be a great night to play some ball! As a reminder, tonight is our OPEN PLAY KICKOFF EVENT and all players are welcome to come out, get some swings, meet your fellow players, and knock off the rust before the season begins.
Tonight's event is open to ALL INTERESTED PLAYERS so if you have a buddy or two who are curious, bring them tonight so we can show them the ropes and get them signed up for the league.
Look for Smitty and Orlando will be at the fields by around 6:30 with play to start around 6:45/7.
Gate Fee: There is none!
