Hey Ballers,
First I want to say thank you for being a part of Panhandle League Joe Softball! It has been a pleasure to watch everyone play and more importantly have fun! This has been a great season so far! A few kinks to work out still, but we are making progress and your help and opinions matter.
A few have wondered about jerseys so here is the scoop. We were trying to work with a local distributer but we were unable to make it work out due to honestly no fault of anyone involved, but it did put us 2 weeks behind. The jerseys are scheduled to be delivered on Monday so we should have them at games Thursday. Just wanted to clear the rumor mill up on this one.
Rule Updates:
1. A girl ONLY has the option to walk behind a guy when he is walked with 2 outs.
2. The ONLY courtesy is if the ball hits the screen. You only get 1 of these.
3. We will have a commit line on the field next week between 3rd base and home plate. If you touch the line or cross it you must continue home and the force is in place.
4. If you are running a 5 man the 5th man must have their feet in the clay and the other 3 remaining outfielders must be at least 10 feet behind the grass. If you start the inning in a 5 man you must continue in the 5 man for the duration of the inning.
5. No vapes/cigarettes/pens/alcohol are allowed at the city park. Please make sure you are following the rules of the park as well
